THE ROLE
As an Integration Supervisor, you will lead the team responsible for the final assembly, integration, testing, and quality of Covenant's products before they are delivered to our defense customers. You will oversee day-to-day build operations and ensure each system is assembled correctly, thoroughly tested, and ready for delivery.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical judgment, organization, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues, maintain production schedules, improve processes, and ensure every product meets Covenant's standards for quality and performance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and supervise technicians and other team members responsible for final assembly, integration, and testing.
- Oversee daily integration activities to ensure products are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
- Coordinate final assembly and integration of mechanical, electrical, software, and other system components.
- Ensure systems are properly configured, tested, and functioning as intended before shipment.
- Coordinate inspection and testing activities with the Quality and Engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot production and integration issues and lead corrective actions to keep builds on track.
- Track production progress and identify schedule, quality, or technical issues before they impact delivery.
- Maintain build documentation, work instructions, checklists, and standard procedures.
- Ensure manufacturing, inspection, and testing activities are properly documented and traceable.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and workmanship.
- Drive improvements to integration processes, throughput, and production efficiency.
- Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing and standard work practices.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production leadership to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
- Support the development and scaling of integration processes as production volume increases.
- Ensure final products meet applicable customer, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, integration, assembly, or test environments.
- 2+ years of experience leading or supervising manufacturing, production, or technical teams.
- Experience with final assembly, system integration, testing, or production acceptance.
- Strong mechanical and/or technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience working with quality control, inspection, and testing processes.
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage production schedules and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Grand Prairie, Texas.
- U.S. Person status required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, unmanned systems, munitions, weapons, or other defense technologies.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, robotics, automotive, or other complex manufacturing environments.
- Experience with DoD manufacturing, testing, inspection, or quality requirements.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience launching or scaling a new production line or manufacturing facility.
- Experience developing work instructions, build documentation, inspection plans, or test procedures.
- Experience with ERP or MES systems.
- Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent technical experience.
