Ferry is a seed-stage health-tech startup reshaping how patients find and book care, combining an AI platform with a human, SMS-based service. We sell to insurers, health systems, and digital health companies. Our Case Management team is the human engine behind our experience, and we're scaling that team.
About the engagement
We're looking for an independent recruiting contractor to source and screen candidates for our growing Case Management team. This is a project-based engagement: you'll run your own sourcing process and screening approach to deliver a consistent flow of qualified candidates to meet agreed upon targets. You set your own hours and methods: we care about the pipeline you deliver. We are open to recruiters currently serving other clients alongside this engagement, provided there's no conflict of interest (e.g., concurrent work for a direct competitor or a role that would create a confidentiality issue).
Scope of deliverables
Deliver a defined number of qualified, screened Case Manager candidates per month. This target volume will be set collaboratively at kickoff and revisited periodically.
Source candidates using LinkedIn, Juicebox, or others of your choosing.
Conduct first-round screening against a shared candidate profile/rubric, and provide a written evaluation for each candidate.
Log candidate status in our ATS (Ashby) so handoffs to our internal hiring team are clean.
Flag sourcing/screening learnings so we can jointly refine the candidate profile and recruiting process.
What you'll bring
Established recruiting/sourcing practice, with a demonstrated independent track record.
Experience in operational, support, or care-delivery hiring.
Own core sourcing tools and workflow (e.g., LinkedIn, personal outreach/sequencing setup, and comfort adapting to Ferry's systems, like Ashby and Juicebox, for pipeline and candidate visibility.
Strong written communication and candidate-first screening style.
Engagement structure
Independent contractor engagement, paid per weekly or monthly retainer.
Term: 3 months, with option to renew based on mutual fit and continued need.
