About the role

We’re on the hunt for a relationship-driven Author Relations Manager to build strong partnerships with mod creators and help them thrive across the Overwolf ecosystem.

As our Mod Author Champion, you’ll work closely with creators across a wide range of games, helping them improve their mods and achieve long-term success. So if you’re a fast, creative thinker who can navigate complex relationships, bring structure to ambitious projects, and collaborate effectively with teams and companies of all sizes – come join our adventure.

  • Own and nurture relationships with mod authors, supporting them and setting them up for success.
  • Partner with mod authors on strategy, user experience, product improvements, and retention.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our authors’ needs and priorities, translating their feedback and data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams – including Research and Development, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Support, Product, and Operations – to ensure our mod authors have everything they need.
  • Lead the execution of author-facing projects, including marketing plans and initiatives focused on growth, monetization, and long-term strategy.
  • Stay up to date with relevant modding communities, identifying and communicating feedback, emerging issues, and overall sentiment.

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer success, developer relations, or other related fields.
  • Passion for PC gaming and hands-on experience across multiple genres.
  • Active participation in online gaming communities.
  • Native-level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Active daily use of Discord – a must.
  • Strong understanding of internet culture and online community dynamics.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours when needed to support authors across time zones.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, resourceful approach to solving complex issues.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • A keen eye for product design and user experience.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive, proactive attitude.

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of ARK modding.
  • Ability to speak fluent creator, product, data, and internet – all in one Discord thread.
