Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts in Solidity, with special attention paid to security, efficiency, and scalability
Work closely with the product team to conceptualize and build innovative consumer-facing features, contributing to overall product vision by taking the reins of the protocol layer
Critically evaluate product requirements, making informed decisions about the division of logic between on-chain and off-chain components
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including writing well-designed, testable code and debugging complex issues
Act as a thought partner on a small and effective team, providing insights and recommendations on blockchain technology and its application to product development
Qualifications
Ideally: 3+ years of experience in Solidity development, with a strong portfolio of deployed contracts
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically about product design and architecture from a user and business perspective
Self-starter by default with the ability to own projects and work independently
Experience in debugging, testing, and code optimization
Knowledge of back-end and front-end development is a plus, but not required
