We have created a breakthrough phone verification solution that detects and reports phone fraud. It is based on our research that shows that every phone call has a fingerprint hidden within the audio. This is based on over 50 artifacts such as noise, codec and line loss. This fingerprint can authenticate legitimate callers and tag fraudulent callers. It can also determine the phone type (landline, cell or VoIP) and location of the caller. Our solution operates completely and independently at one end requiring no modifications to existing telecommunication infrastructure. Our real-world testing has also shown that these fingerprints are resistant against attacks.
