Careers at Shizuku AI

Shizuku is building multimodal AI characters for streaming and companionship use cases. The core researcher behind the company, Akio Kodaira, has spent his PhD focused on real-time video diffusion - first as the co-lead author of StreamDiffusion, a popular open source pipeline, and then during internships as Meta and Luma. He’s now teaming up with an expert in the VTubing space to create and host more interactive, expressive AI companions that both broadcast (stream video) to an audience and have 1:1 relationships with users.
